Canceling a check-out

Use the Cancel Check Out command to restore a document to its prior revision and delete the local workspace copy of the document.

Warning    All changes made while the document was checked out will be lost and cannot be recovered!

The Cancel Check Out command is only valid for drawings that you have already checked out and opened.

To cancel the check-out of a drawing from within a CAD application:

1. In one of the following:

• BC ProjectForce menu
• BC ProjectForce tool box
• BC ProjectForce panel in the Ribbon

Click Cancel Check Out . A confirmation dialog box appears.

2. Click Yes to cancel the check-out and remove the local workspace file. This is the recommended action. The library copy of the drawing will be retained. Click No to cancel the check-out and retain the local workspace file in addition to the library copy of the drawing. Click Cancel to abort the Cancel Check Out command.
